a multidisciplinary designer
based in San Francisco.
I'm currently a Senior Staff Designer at YouTube.
I grew up in Vancouver Canada, and creating things has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid it was illustrated comics and stop-motion animations, later websites and apps. That curiosity eventually brought me to Google, where I’ve spent the past decade designing for some of the world’s most widely used products.
Most of my experience has been at YouTube, where I’ve worked as an IC Designer, UX manager, and now Area Design Lead. I’ve helped shape experiences across mobile, web, and TV — working at a scale that still humbles me. Designing for billions of people teaches you a lot of things: how to simplify without sacrificing meaning, how to build for edge cases you’ll never meet, and how to care about small details even when the scale is enormous.
I try to approach design with a renaissance attitude — blending systems thinking, cultural awareness, and hands-on craft. Whether I’m defining a strategy or refining an interaction, I care about clarity, usefulness, and making products feel human.
I also love side projects — illustration, small apps, creative coding experiments. They’re my way of staying curious and exploring ideas outside the constraints of scale.
When I’m not designing, I’m usually cycling, running, or watching wonderfully weird videos on YouTube.
